The audit will help you work out which of these you are currently building

Legacy
A business that is designed specifically to have a life of it's own beyond the life of its founder/owner. This venture is in it for the long haul and is designed for maximum impact.

Liberated
A business that gives you the freedom and flexibility to scale in a way which feels good to you. You can take extended breaks from it and still have it grow, and it hits success metrics across a range of measurables.

Leveraged
A business hard wired to make the most out of the resources put into it with clear milestones for unlocking the assets that the business has created.

Lifestyle
A business that allows you the flexibility to pursue other passions, and uphold other responsibilities. A venture that contributes to a life in alignment with your values

Loss-Leading
A business that even if it is making a profit may not be getting the best return on investment of your time, energy, effort, expertise and money spent so far on growing your business...YET!!
Hey I'm Julie (AKA the BIG Ideas Lady)
I thought it might be useful to know who I am before you jump into my Audit process, and to explain why helping solopreneurs build the right kind of business is my Jam.
I'm Julie Creffield, innovation director, business legacy strategist, keynote speaker on ideation, creativty and entrepreneurship.
I have been in business as a solopreneur for almost 30 years, I have founded multiple businesses across a range of sectors and niches, and I've made a shit ton of money and made my fair share of mistakes too.
As a single mum from a working class family in East London, I have bootstrapped my way to business success with a mix of hard graft, playing to my unique strengths, and a whole heap of trial and error.
I haven't always taken the easy path though, I've seen and done it all when it comes to business models, tactics and strategies and I am now on a mission to help other solopreneurs grow their businesses in a more strategic way.
There is a lot of noise out there, a lot of things to take us off on a tangent.
Life is too damn short to be wasting even a moment of it growing the wrong kind of business, following all the shiny bullshit things (and people) out there.
If you are serious about having a sustainable business that is successful across the metrics that matter to you, then getting clarity over the reality of what you are doing and why is not just important, but it is critical.
